The newel stair:

dominant and decorative

Newel stairs catch the eye – particularly if they're in the middle of a room and almost resemble a sculpture. The step supports are fitted spirally around the central pillar – the newel. Since no walls are needed for attachment, there are many different options open to you for its positioning and arrangement.

The individual options in the design and the selection of materials are also very varied. A combination of wood and metal is particularly popular – it gives the stair a strikingly modern character. In the case of the wooden newel stair, the wooden steps and spacers are placed over a steel tube in the interior of the newel.

To make a main stair convenient to use, you should select a diameter of at least 210 cm. And you should bear in mind that the newel stair offers only limited scope for transporting objects, unless it has a relatively large diameter.

With newel stairs from Treppenbau Voss, you benefit from years of experience in both craftsmanship and the latest production techniques from one of northern Germany's biggest manufacturers.
